About Munich - The City
The conference hotel is located centrally in Munich, which offers the perfect opportunity to explore Bavaria‘s capital city. The most famous sights include the Hofbräuhaus, the old city hall, and the cathedral called Frauenkirche. Munich is also known for its excellent cuisine (during the opening reception we will have a buffet that covers a good range of those regional specialties). Munich is not only well known for its beautiful sights, but also for its exemplary economy. Munich is at the heart of Germany’s high tech industry – a fact that has contributed to making Germany a key player in the global economy. We could recommend the BMW Museum, which is not far from the conference location. About Munich - The Region Munich is also located very close to the mountains, offering hiking opportunities, mountain lakes, and stunning views over mountain peeks and valleys.
The Austrian city of Salzburg - the birthplace of the composer Mozart - is a nice daytrip from Munich.
